I’ve read a lot of vampire books, but this one feels different. The Dark Lands are haunting and vivid, and the emotional depth of the protagonist’s grief, anger, and growth is incredible. The romance is slow-burn, spicy, and layered with real conflict. If you love morally grey characters and stories that challenge your sense of loyalty, A Court of Blood and Sacrifice is a must-read.

The writing is lush and intense, with dialogue that’s smart and snappy. I found myself rereading passages just to soak them in again. I can’t recommend this book enough—it’s one of the best dark fantasy romances I’ve read in years.

The premise drew me in, but it was the execution that blew me away. The heroine’s grief and vengeance feel so raw and personal, and her journey through the Dark Lands is full of tension and transformation. The vampire she’s bound to is arrogant, mysterious, and oddly compelling—you’ll hate him until you don’t. And then you’ll really hate how much you love him.

Oh my gosh! I was so excited to read book 2 and it didn’t let me down! That cliffhanger from book 1 it picked up right into book 2. I love not knowing what’s going to happen. Everything the FMC goes through her reality is completely changed. The plot is so fresh and so good! The world building is still next level and I’m here for it. I inhaled the entire book in one day and I couldn’t stop reading it. The ending! Gasps! I highly recommend book 1 and 2 and I can’t wait to read more from this author. The MMC probably my favorite vampire book bf. I’m obsessed with him!! 

The adventure continues in book 2! This book is a fast paced, action packed, heart racing, toes curling good time! The writer draws you in to the story with so many twists and turns . The why choose love story is beautifully written and the love interests of the fmc will have you raising your hand saying pick me!pick me! The spice in this book is at least a hot x5 definitely add this series to your TBR list!!
